Dog Yellow Vomit and Green Bile on White Carpet

by Robert Morin
(Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada)

Years ago, my Miniature Schnauzer had gastrointestinal problems; and, on more than several occasions he had thrown up yellow and green bile on my slightly off white carpet. I thought to use Arm & Hammer Washing Soda® mixed it and 2 cups of hot water in a medium sized 4 litre/quart plastic ice cream pail. I followed the directions on the box. I applied the mixed solution with a small scrubbing brush, scrubbed and rinsed 2-3 times while using my carpet cleaner to vacuum up the debris and excess water. The results were incredible. Not only was all evidence of the problem removed; but, the cleaned spots were so clean and white it made the rest of the carpet stand out as dirtier and in need of cleaning.

Old Yellow Bar Soap and Washing Soda are two simple often overlooked solutions to many common and/or unusual stain problems.

I have bookmarked your great site.

Thanks, Robert.
