Effortless Grocery-Errand Day

by Karen
(Placerville, CA)

Here is my grocery tip:

Monday: Post grocery list form on the frig for everyone to mark what they need.

Wednesday: Clean out frig; add new items to the list. Check sale ads; mark specials on the list. Make "Last Call" announcement for any errands not food related. Add these to your list and number in order to be done.

Load cloth bags, list, and items involved into the car.

Thursday: Follow the list! Empty car, put away purchases, and put cloth bags in laundry as needed.

Shelly's comment: Great tip Karen! We leave a list on top of the microwave. As we see something we need, we add it to the list.
